The cake is rich enough that one slice actually felt like a full dessert, and the truffles on the side made it a proper two-part treat. We cut into it for a birthday and nobody could finish their plate.
The truffles are the perfect bite-sized companions to that massive Quadruple Chocolate Cake—I ended up slicing the cake thin and pairing it with coffee, and it was pure indulgence. Even after two days in the fridge, it stayed moist and rich, which never happens with cakes I order.
The cake is so dense and fudgy it almost feels like a brownie, and the extra layers of chocolate are no joke. Sliced it up for a small birthday dinner and everyone went back for seconds without saying a word.
