The cake truffles were the sleeper hit of the whole box—moist, dense, and just the right size for a sneaky afternoon snack. The unfrosted-side layer cake looked almost too pretty to cut, but it sliced clean and tasted even better than it photographed. Perfect starter kit if you're new to this style

I’ve been eyeing unfrosted-side layer cakes for a while, and this starter pack finally got me to try them—the naked cake is way less intimidating than I thought, and the truffles are the perfect little bite to share. My only regret is not buying two boxes.

The cake truffles were gone within an hour of the box arriving, and the unfrosted sides on the layer cake made for a genuinely pretty slice. This starter pack nails the balance between familiar and weird enough to feel like a treat.
