Onze klassieke Birthday Cake, geïnspireerd op de supermarktvariant waar we mee opgroeiden — nu glutenvrij! Drie lagen van met regenboogvlekjes bestrooide, glutenvrije vanille B'Day-cake, gelaagd met romig B'Day-glazuur en knapperige glutenvrije B'Day-kruimels. Smaakt naar vroeger (nou ja… zonder de gluten).
The rainbow-flecked layers are a total nostalgia trip, and the creamy frosting is just sweet enough without being cloying. I froze half and it thawed perfectly for a second celebration, which was a pleasant surprise for a gluten-free cake.
It’s tasty enough, and the gluten-free vanilla flakes are a nice touch, but the three tiers felt a bit dry by the second day even in the fridge.
