My niece grabbed this book and within an hour had the Apple Pie Waffles dough mixed and in the fridge—the recipe steps are broken down so clearly that she barely needed my help. The Choco Crunch Cookies turned out exactly like the photo, which never happens with kid cookbooks.
My eight-year-old has already bookmarked half the book — the Apple Pie Waffles were a Sunday morning hit, and she did most of it herself. The photos make each step so clear that I barely had to help.
My niece and I made the Choco Crunch Cookies last weekend and they came out perfect, even though she's only seven. The book's layout makes it easy for her to follow the steps without me hovering. Just wish there were a few more savory options mixed in with all the sweets.
